||1 of 2 people found the following review helpful.| Universe Closed, or Open?|By Jack Curtis|This book gives an excellent, & mostly sympathetic, analysis of Peirce's view of things, I think, only complaining that Habituation & the Law of Large Numbers seem mutually exclusive, which complaint only holds, I think, for those who believe the Universe is "closed", which I don't. Not sure what opinion Peirce had on that matter.
